At Share My Meals we have designed an innovative onboarding process to help volunteers join our nonprofit organization.

Stan has designed several digital tracks to ease the volunteers’ application. We use online solutions such as Google Form, Zapier’s automation for web services integrations, Trello, and Mailchimp automation to streamline the initial volunteer communication and document exchanges.

Our volunteers’ coordinator team, Elisabeth and Canan brings empathy and care to this digital realm. They organize Google Meet online sessions to guide volunteers throughout their journey while our logistic coordinator Macarena finalizes the onboarding process with essential pickup and delivery tips. Liliana, our Community Liason, jumps in to provide recommendations from the field. Throughout the way, Caroline checks every single document for legal approval.

Like everyone else, we moved our meetings online yet we enjoy seeing each other and getting to know members of our community. Since January our team grew from 7 to over 35, and our meal delivery program went from 15 meals delivered every day to over 300.

Our wonderful team of #volunteers with the support of generous donors has made it possible to deliver close to 15,000 meals so far.
