New Jersey, September 23, 2025 – Share My Meals in partnership with Sodexo, SodexoMagic, and Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation, proudly announces that together they have recovered and delivered more than 100,000 nutritious, prepared meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity. This milestone reflects an ongoing commitment to reducing food waste and making a positive impact in communities.

Since beginning their partnership in 2020, Share My Meals and Sodexo’s teams have successfully worked together to recover surplus prepared meals from Sodexo-managed sites and redirect them to local organizations supporting community members experiencing food insecurity, marking this significant milestone.

The partnership involves coordinated efforts across Sodexo’s corporate dining, SodexoMagic joint ventures, and Sodexo’s Stop Hunger Foundation to ensure safe, timely recovery and distribution of quality meals. The initiative not only addresses food insecurity but also aligns with sustainability goals by minimizing food waste. To date, this effort has prevented 138,000 pounds of surplus food from ending up in landfills, equivalent to avoiding more than 304 metric tons of CO2 from entering the atmosphere.

We are incredibly proud of the impact this partnership has had, not only in nourishing people but also in contributing to sustainability goals of our clients,” said Roxanne Moore, Executive Director, Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation. “Our collaboration with Share My Meals is a powerful example of what can happen when organizations come together with purpose and alignment.

Sodexo was one of our first partners, and from the beginning, their commitment extended beyond simple food donations. Their food safety experts even helped us develop our food handling protocol, laying the foundation for the safe and reliable meal recovery model we use today,” said Hélène Lanctuit, CEO of Share My Meals. “This milestone represents far more than a number, it reflects thousands of families who didn’t have to worry about their next meal and dozens of nonprofit partners who were able to better support their communities. We are proud to work alongside partners who understand that meal recovery is not only about sustainability, it’s about dignity, care, and community.

Our collaboration is focused on more than just numbers; it is about creating meaningful changes in the communities we serve together.
