Share My Meals (SMM) is so grateful to Cherry Grove Farm for choosing us as their non-profit partner for this year’s Cow Parade on November 5th. This was a festive family event on the farm where visitors enjoyed delicious food, sampled products from local artisans, listened to a live band, and, of course, watched the cows parade with their festive garlands. Cherry Grove is one of our local food donors and we were so happy to be part of the day’s festivities on such a beautiful sunny day.
SMM staff and volunteers enjoyed speaking with event goers about the work we do to address the challenges of food waste and food insecurity. This opportunity on the farm was timely as we wrap up the harvest season and our gleaning program for the year.
